Snack Review: Wayne’s Jerky – Teriyaki

By on April 10, 2014

Wayne’s Jerky is a brand of Wayne’s Jerky, LLC based out of Sobieski, WI. The company has been in business since 2006, available in stores throughout north-east Wisconsin as well as on their website. Their beef jerky is sold in bite sized pieces. Although they have several awesome flavors we picked our favorite to review.

Meat Consistency / Taste

Wayne’s jerky is cut up into small bite sized pieces. The pieces are stiff, with a little flexibility. There seems to be no hard bits of jerky. For chewing it required some effort but its not going to make your gums hurt. As for taste, I like that there was no overwhelming Teriyaki flavor. I could tell that it was there but it did not take over. There is a little bit of sweet taste to it with a little bit of salt. But overall has a great taste and flavor to it.

Beef, sugar, soy sauce powder, dextrose, salt, spices, butter flavoring, monosodium glutamate, sesame oil, garlic, onion, celery seed, onion powder, garlic powder, natural flavor, citric acid, cilantro, sodium nitrite.

Wayne’s jerky sells the teriyaki version on its website for $6.95 for a 4oz bag. Its a great taste for the price and its quite enjoyable. Check out their jerky club and get your fill monthly.
