SENTRY the company that owns Hexmag, the AR-15 Magazine manufacturer has come out with their new line of firearm cleaning and lubrication products.
We recently got the chance to check out a few of their new items, and we wanted to give you guys the scoop.
1st we have the SENTRY Tuf-Glide™ CDLP and Tuf-Cloth™
Tuf-Glide™ CDLP (Cleaner, Dry-Lubricant, Protectant) is ideal for quick maintenance at home or in the field. The proven all in one formula allows for a quicker clean, lubrication, and corrosion protection. Available in convenient presaturated cloth or bottle applications for pin point application. By simply replacing harsh solvents, patches, and wet, tacky oils with our dry, oil-free, CDLPs and lubricants that bond to the surface – guns and gear operate better.
2nd we have the SENTRY Smooth-Kote™ Barrel and Bore Treatment
Expanding on the oil-free line of firearm maintenance products, the team at SENTRY created an innovative, Molybdenum dry lubricant & barrel treatment. Smooth-Kote™ Protects internal surfaces against friction, fouling, and wear. Fast drying and micro-bonds to metal for excellent lubrication from -65˚F to 650˚F.
3rd we have their SENTRY Hi-Slip™ Grease
SENTRY HI-SLIP™ grease lubricates, waterproofs, and prevents rust even in saltwater. All the benefits of oil but stays put – will not migrate and protects surfaces in temperatures from -54ºC/-65ºF to 343ºC/650ºF. Synthetic blend exceeds mil-specs for moly grease. Lubricates and prevents galling on all types of metal including stainless steel, blued metal, titanium and aluminum. Prevents corrosion from salt water, powder residue, and sweat. Concentrated and extremely long lasting – a little goes a very long way.
All of SENTRY’S Cleaning and Lubrication products work great. We look forward to using them in the future. I think their Tuf-Cloth is a great item to have on hand. You can keep it in your safe, and wipe down your firearms after your down handling them. Definitely and an item you should have on hand.
