Review: Zombie Apocalypse Slingshot By Montie Gear

By on January 7, 2014

Slingshots are not just for kids anymore. Montie Gear has made a slingshot that just might be your go to weapon in a survival situation. Each Montie Gear slingshot is made to order. That way they can focus on quality and precision unlike most mass produced slingshots these days. The slingshot’s frame is cut from 1/2″ thick aluminum plate. The slingshot is either powder coated or anodize depending on the color you choose. The Slingshot measures just 4 inches wide by 7 inches long and only weighs 4 oz. With its lightweight this is a great item to add to your survival kit or bug out bag. You never know if might come in handy one day. The handle is wrapped with 550 paracord for comfortability and the colors available are – black, desert camo, woodland camo, digital, green or pink. The band on this slingshot is very nice as well. It has a leather pouch. The tapered flat band has a 16 pound pull weight at approximately a 28″ draw. The band is made from a Thera-Band Gold material for a fast shot and long life.

Accessories – We have not yet tested any of the accessories but thought we might include them so you guys can check them out. You can check them out here along with some others we didn’t include

Holster – These are also made to order. They are made out of horse hide leather and is a great option to hold your slingshot.

Arrow Rest – This gives your slingshot the capability to shoot arrows.

This is a very nice slingshot and you can get for only about $150. Go check it out

We would like to thank Montie Gear for sending along the Zombie Apocalypse Slingshot for testing and review.
