Review: Jimmy’s Sticky Jerky – Sweet Turkey

By on June 17, 2014

Jimmy’s Sticky Jerky launched in 2012. They are based out of Hermosa Beach, CA. They sent us over a few flavors of their jerky to try, and write up a review and share it with you guys. The last flavor we tried was the “Turkey Sweet” beef jerky. The concept of “sticky jerky” is based on the stickiness of the marinade they use.

Ingredients Include

Turkey breast, reduced sodium soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, seasonings, smoke flavor.

When you first give the “ Turkey Sweet” Jerky a try you get a light sweetness followed by a light saltiness. Chewing brings out the natural turkey flavor and a light garlic flavor. The turkey is sliced into chunks and small stripes. The turkey jerky does have a slight dry feel but it does have a lot of flexibility and is easy to chew. Not as easy at the beef jerky but similar.

Jimmy’s Sticky Jerky sells this Sticky Sweet Turkey from its website at a price of $17.99 for a three-pack, with each package at 2.5oz.

Final Thoughts

The “ Turkey Sweet” Jerky from Jimmy’s Sticky Jerky is a must check out. It is really tender and flexible which makes chewing an ease. It has good flavors with the sweetness and ginger mix.
