Officials: 2nd Health Care Worker Tested Positive For Ebola

A second hospital worker who cared for the first Ebola patient in the U.S has tested positive for Ebola. Health officials are alerting passengers who were on the 132 airline from Cleveland to Dallas-Fort Worth with the nurse who was diagnosed the next day.

It’s not clear how the second worker contracted the virus. Authorities declined to say what position she holds at the hospital or the type of care she provided to Thomas Eric Duncan. Officials have also said they don’t know how the first health care worker became infected as she wore protective gear while treating Thomas.
