In this article, we are going to check out the Barrel & Blade Tactical Outfitters Subscription Box. This review article is going to showcase the month of March 2018.
The first thing you get when you open the box is a little postcard that details all the items with descriptions. It also includes the MSRP price of all the gear, you can add up all the items, to see if you are getting your value out of the box.
The first item we are going to check out is the Razor Slim Electronic Ear Protection. This makes up a lot of the value of the box right away. Electronic Ear Protection is defiantly a plus, that way you can hear if people are talking to you when you’re at the range, and you’re able to communicate easier. The noise reduction rating is 23 decibels. These earmuffs are very nice, stay tuned for an upcoming review featuring these ear pro.
The second item we have is a THYRM Waterproof Cell Vault. This is a very nice addition. You can store batteries, fire starting kit, medication, or any other survival items.
The third thing we are going to look at is the Spool Tool. This is an excellent piece of gear to have to keep your Paracord organized. It has a built-in razor blade so that you can safely and quickly cut any size of Paracord. It also has a built-in Mini BIC Lighter Holder. That way you can heat fuse the Paracord ends. Great piece of gear that you can toss in your bag and take with you.
The fourth thing we have here is a Cold Steel Counter Point 2 knife. The blade length is 3 inches. Made from 440C Steel, the Counter Point is highly corrosion and stain resistant and takes a very sharp and durable edge. The Counter Points handle is made from Griv-Ex and reinforced with heat treated aluminum liners, making it not only very strong, but comfortable and secure in almost any grip imaginable.
The last item we have here pretty neat. This is a Rite in the Rain notepad. This notepad is very interesting, even if there were running water on the paper, you would still be able to write on it. This is a great item to have on you and toss in your gear bag.
Level Breakdown
Level 1 ($49.99 Per Month) Tactical & EDC items – Tested + Proven = Useful additions to your collection. Average box value: $85+
Level 2 ($99.99 Per Month) Higher value Tactical & EDC items that have been tested and are proven to be useful additions to your collection. Average box value: $175+
Everybody likes getting packages in the mail. And with Blade & Barrel, it’s like Christmas every month. Their previous boxes also looked to have some great items in them as well. Make sure to check them out, and see if it might be something you’re interested in.
